Since 2004, China Steel Machinery Corporation (CSMC) has fabricated onshore wind turbine towers for major international wind power system manufacturers, including GE of the United States, GAMESA of Spain, VESTAS of Denmark, and ENERCON of Germany, building a proven track record in large-scale tower manufacturing. In 2014, CSMC also undertook the manufacturing of Taipower’s metocean observation mast, the first domestically manufactured metocean observation mast in Taiwan and an important milestone in the country’s development toward offshore wind power. Since 2020, CSMC has fabricated key components for Sing Da Marine Structure Corporation’s Greater Changhua Offshore Wind Farm underwater foundation project, including TPs (Transition Pieces), Nodes, Stabbing Assemblies, Boat Landing steel pipes, and Jacket Legs. Through continuous improvement in manufacturing methods and management systems, CSMC continues to support the development of the offshore wind power industry.
