CSMC fully supports the country and China Steel's strategy of developing the green energy industry, exerts solid manufacturing capabilities and team strength, invests in offshore wind power underwater foundation manufacturing and contributes to a friendly environment and industrial development. As of the first half of 2021, CSMC has successfully completed SDMS Co., Ltd.'s contract for the Ørsted Da Changhua offshore wind farm and the supply of related key components of the pipe-frame underwater foundation, such as Transition Piece(TP), Node, ship steel pipe (Boat Landing), Stabbing Pin, and foot column(Leg), etc. SDMS Co., Ltd. in July, 2021, the first 100% domestically produced pipe-frame underwater foundation system was completed.

CSMC has also continued to invest in SDMS Co., Ltd. to undertake the production of key components for the underwater foundation of Zhongneng's offshore wind farm project No. 29. The supply of the underwater foundation is more productive and catches up to achieve the mission of the country and the group's green energy policy.
