  • The China Steel Machinery Corporation (CSMC) is a member of China Steel Corporation (CSC) Group.

    As a CSC investee, the CSMC was established on November 20, 2001 by taking over the heavy equipment mill assets and business of former Taiwan Machinery Manufacturing Corporation (TMMC). By integrating TMMC’s professional technology and excellent equipment and CSC’s robust business administration knowhow and resources, we have become an engineering-based company with heavy equipment mills (including casting, thermal treatment, cold welding, machining, assembly, and testing) and a heavy cargo terminal at Wharf 74 of the Port of Kaohsiung. Currently, the amount of our authorized capital is NT$1,600,000,000.

  • Technology-Oriented CSMC

    We are capable of manufacturing professional heavy equipment for special products, such as bogie frames, armored car bodies, cranes, reheating furnaces, special castings, continuous ship unloaders (CSU) and handling systems, and steel and iron equipment. Our services cover design, manufacture, assembly, civil engineering, steel structure, on-site installation, commissioning, and inspection and repair. We have accumulated years of rich experience from CSC expansion projects, large modification projects, track works, urban large pumping station projects, and military vehicle manufacture. We have also passed the certification of the ISO 9001:2005 QMS, ISO 3834.2:2005 QMS for welding; CNS 45001:2018 / ISO 45001:2018 occupational health and safety management system, CNS 15506:2011, ASME S (boiler), U (pressure containers), U2 (high-pressure container), and NB&R Stamp.

  • CSMC Safety and Health Policy

    Established in 2001, CSMC mainly engages in machinery fabrication, installation and maintenance based on the philosophy “Full Participation, Safety First, and Continual Improvements”. All the employees not only observe statutory regulations as well as respective safety procedures and work regulations but also actively participate in the promotion and application of SH Management System, for preventing injuries and diseases from occurring; they also continuously improve the Safety & Health Management and its performance for establishing environments that comply with SH regulations, such that the entire staff may be protected against incidents, mechanical facilities may operate smoothly, and the company may develop sustainably.

    Thereby the following four key points, THRU, are defined, meaning pass through safely, for the observation of the entire staff.

    Popularize Training(Training):
    Popularize and carry out Labor Safety Training so that employees and supporting suppliers all understand SH Policy of the company with intensified perception of labor safety.
    Zeroing occupational hazards(Harmless):
    Taking Zero Occupational Hazard as the utmost objective of the company.
    Minimized Risk(Risk-free):
    Control labor safety risks to the minimum.
    Control Optimization(Under-control):
    Control SH related environments to optimal conditions for eliminating labor safety risks.

Business Performance

Business and financial performance will directly affect the profit of shareholders and income of employees. Only steady and robust financial performance can secure the foundation for sustainable development. We are committed to increasing profit and creating value-added benefits to balance the interests between shareholders and employees and pursue sustainable corporate development. The 2022 revenue is NT$6.107 billion, with a target achievement rate of 100.11%. The amount of business turnover of 2022 is NT$5.863 billion. Following CSC’s development and growth, the CSMC progressively engages in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services for large projects, infrastructure projects, and specialized products.

In 2007, the revenue and income before tax amounted to NT$5.47 billion and NT$320 million respectively. The amount for capitalization of profits was NT$968 million.
