China Steel has spared no effort in air pollution prevention and control. Dragon Steel promotes the indoorization project of the stockyard and China Steel promotes the closed construction of coal mines, replacing the original open-pit mine stockyard, in order to effectively reduce dust pollution to the environment and improve steelmaking raw materials usage efficiency. In order to increase the number of coal stockpiles and increase operating efficiency, it is planned to use a distributing trolley and a semi-portal scraper re-claimer (SCR) to perform stacking and reclaiming operations.

SCR is a continuous scraper re-claimer, which can be set remotely to enable the cart to automatically take, unify, scan, record and other operations in the storage grid. Under the engineering division of the group, CSMC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) turnkey supply of 4 sets of SCR to China Steel and Dragon Steel, with practical actions, actively deepen the professional capabilities of CSMC and its conveying equipment EPC . After the completion of this project, the removal rate of particulate matter from the raw material piles will increase from 87.5% to 98%, reducing the emission of coal ash and improving air pollution.
