A Hot blast stove is an indispensable piece of equipment in the ironmaking process of steel plants. The main function is to mix the Blast-Furnace Gas, (BFG) and Coke Oven Gas(COG) to produce gas, plus combustion air, which is heated by room temperature When it reaches a high temperature, the hot air of about 1,150~1,190℃ is generated and then it is sent into the blast furnace to the cast iron placer and then molten iron is generated for the next process.
The production and installation of a hot blast furnace is some of the core product projects of CSMC. In the early days, the hot blast furnaces in the China Steel plant were all planned and designed by foreign companies. Later, the group invested in learning design and construction technology in order to pass on technology and create domestic employment opportunities. With experience in equipment manufacturing and on-site construction, CSMC has successfully completed a major milestone in the independent development and design of domestic hot blast furnaces. In addition, it has strengthened its own proportion of technology and successfully developed Checker Support for hot blast furnace castings to help customers no longer be limited by foreign technology and cost delivery and can respond to urgent replacement needs. Through the realization of this project, the problem of inefficiency of old equipment will be improved, the production of blast furnaces will be stabilized, heating capacity will be improved and energy use will be reduced. This not only complies with the energy laws and regulations but also responds to the international trend of energy conservation and carbon reduction.
Scope of work: including pre-work, temporary cooling, and heating equipment and pipeline production and installation, hot blast furnace shell removal, furnace shell production and pre-assembly, heat storage brick cast iron support base production, mechanical installation, instrument and electrical control system, etc.
